ATTORNEY PROFILE
Victoria Parker

I was born in Northern Nevada and raised on the Hungry Valley Reservation. I am an enrolled member of the Western Shoshone Tribe. Living in poverty on the reservation was difficult. I learned early on that we were money-poor but culture-rich. One of the most important lessons my culture taught me was how important it is to take care of my community and elders.
I also learned that people should consider their decisions and actions against the impact those things will have on the next seven generations. These early childhood lessons led me to a life of public serviceā€¦

Shortly after watching the Twin Towers collapse during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, I decided to join the Army. I served for 15 years on active duty and in the reserves as a military police officer, drill sergeant, and combatives instructor.
I deployed to Iraq in 2004-2005 as a .50 cal gunner and again in 2006-2008 as a team and squad leader. I finished my military service as a Sergeant First Class (E-7) and Senior Drill Sergeant in 2019.

While serving my country, I also attained my
B.A. in Social Sciences with concentrations in criminal justice, psychology, and sociology from Washington State University. A few years later, I attended the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at UM and graduated in May 2020. Go Griz!
Following graduation, I moved to Billings and clerked for Judge Donald Harris in Yellowstone County District Court. If you would like to know more about my professional accomplishments, please feel free to visit my LinkedIn page at http://www.linkedin.com/in/victoria-parker-31720967.

Everything I have done in my life has been focused on lifting others up and strengthening communities by being an advocate for underserved and disenfranchised populations.
I have finally hung up my drill sergeant hat and moved back to the Bitterroot Valley so I can start my next chapter in life as an attorney and mother. One of my goals is to travel throughout Ravalli County and fill the gap in legal representation by providing affordable services to the people that need it the most: blue collar workers, veterans, retirees, people on disability, single parents, etc. Thank you for your time, I look forward to serving your needs in the future.
